It was a rude awakening for the Texas Longhorns as they travelled to Fayetteville, Arkansas to face off with the Arkansas Razorbacks. The only thing they left town with besides a loss was the realization that they are most certainly not ready to compete in the SEC. Lucky for them, there still might be time to sneak in and shred the contract.

It was a beautiful thing to watch. Almost as beautiful as Jacksonville State beating FSU.
Uhhh, in these parts UT is The University of Tennessee. And no, they didn’t have a great weekend, neither.
I saw the ending with the shocked looks on the FSU cheerleaders. Stuff like that is why I love college football.

Vandy actually won their game.
NOW the Gamecocks beating FSU was a piece of gold for them. I live here in Jacksonville and the place is crazy crazy crazy today. They lost to UAB 10 days before and did nothing in that game. But, they made a ton of mistakes in this one but won because FSU made more mistakes!!! They beat Ole Miss at Ole Miss a few years ago and they loved that for years. This will carry them now for a few years!! They needed this win badly.
Texas had an off day. Their OL couldn’t protect the qb. Their defense couldn’t stop the run. Other than that, they weren’t that bad.
Jax State should have beaten FSU in 2009, they were leading FSU 9-7, with 35 seconds left, FSU scored a late TD, and then scored a defensive TD, and pulled it out 19-9.
OU Texas will be a must win for both teams.
We’ll see if OU’s lousy quarterback can pull it out.

The Jacksonsville State receiver, Philyaw-Johnson made a great play, though, he deserves a lot of credit, as well as the guy who made that block that sprung him.
I see Philyaw-Johnson is a transfer from Duke. That was NFL-quality right there. I just hope his teammates didn’t kill him after piling on top of him.
