I grew up in Iowa. Nice people 'n all that but dammit, they voted for Obama. There's also little there outside of agriculture. Des Moines is a craphole and outside of an insurance company that hires a ton of people there, the largest employer (I think...) is state and local governments.
Like I said, nice people, they'd help anyone and give the shirts off their backs to help someone but again, they voted for Obama. I can't overlook that.
