BINGO
When you’re not posting old news, how about a donation?
An early ping for next month.
This is the FreeRepublic “1 of” Ping List. The FR “1 of” Ping List is comprised of folks who post hit and run clickbait threads and then rarely if ever reply to posts.
“1 of” Ping list members: Your donations are needed during the next FR Fund Raiser. FR members pay for you to post your hit and run threads for free. Your donations are needed to pay back FR members who pay for your free use of FR bandwidth.

I wonder what the worth is melted?
They DESERVE to have it all stripped from them. Too damned ignorant and stupid to keep their fat gobs SHUT.
THIS. THIS STUPID RIGHT HERE.
THIS is the DUMB Jesus is coming back to destroy.
Among other things...
Old story, new clickbait by regular spambot.
Will people ever be able to keep their mouths shut when they find these things?
Sounds familiar. Did this happen quite a while ago?................
First Rule of digging up buried gold coins in your yard is:
DON’T TELL ANYONE
Second Rule is:
DON’T TELL ANYONE
If they survived until 1933 they would have been melted down. This sudden infusion of supply will certainly depress the value of the surviving pieces, though I suspect the 1866 $20 dollar piece is unique enough to hold its value.
This is OLD NEWS.....................
Well done, Caltards. Your gubmint is proud of you.
Clickbait.
$1,729.90 per Troy ounce today.
Not saying anything = Tax Fraud.
Then, once you tell the government you found $10M in gold coins, they’re going to want to better understand the how, what, when and where of it all. You cannot escape the tax-man....unless you’re not afraid of prison.
Remembering the movie Goldfinger Bond was informed since gold can be melted down it’s virtually untraceable. I suppose they thought the rare coinage value might have made it worth more. Now it’s value to them might be 0.
Who knew 1900 was considered ancient?
CA will claim it; to help the homeless you know.
Double eagles weigh 0.96 Troy ounces.
So after I found five sacks of gold coins I called the county and sez,” Hey, I found three sacks of gold coins,” and they sez, “Give ‘em here, we’ll call the state. Hullo, State? One of our citizens has found two sacks of gold coins, here they are,” and the State guy sez, “Hullo, Feds? Some guy just found a sack of gold coins...” Next day the papers read “Idaho Man Finds An Antique Coin”.
