15 days, they told us, for 15 days/roughly 2 weeks we need to work from home, close non-essential business, cancel concerts, baby showers, bingo games, etc., yada, yada, you know “the thing” (to show my solidarity with a certain awe-inspiring president) in order to give hospitals a chance to gear up for huge, terrible, overwhelming waves of ‘rona patients.
15 days.
Instead, 15 days has now become 315 days. We can argue as to the exact start date of the implementation of Operation Curve Flattening. I am punctuating it from the first day I began working from home per the guidelines in my state.
Since my last post on this subject, Biden has been installed as dictator, er president, and there is talk in the land by some state-level dictators about allowing the peasants return to some semblance of a normal life, i.e. allowing inside dining and such. Also, it seems, all of sudden, HCQ is not dangerous and should be considered by doctors when treating the ‘rona. Finally, the number of cycles used in the PCR tests is coming under scrutiny by the WHO.
How interesting. How convenient.
Other countries, however, are keeping or expanding their lockdowns and curfews and are employing anal probes. I read discrepant information about the ‘rona receding and growing here and whether or not the new strains—the Brazil strain and the South African strain- are something to worry about and whether or not the vax will work against them. But at least we are able to refer to them by their country name, unlike with the China Virus or Wu Hu Flu.

It appears it’s already starting. This morning I had to go into an urgent care clinic because of an ear infection, and the nice young lady who took my vitals was already wearing two masks (one of those paper N95’s covered by a another paper mask). I’m going to start referring to the people who double up as “two baggers”.
The “Great Reset” continues.
Sure there are pockets of resistance here and there, but the sheep herd together and the evil Shepard’s know that they can come for us later on. We will comply or be driven to extinction.
