Conservative hard-liners are moving against House GOP Conference Chair Liz Cheney after she pledged to impeach President Donald Trump — the first serious signs of blowback since she made her position public.
Less than 24 hours after Cheney said she would vote to remove Trump from office for his role in the deadly Capitol riots, some of the president’s closest allies are now taking steps to oust the No. 3 Republican from leadership.
Members of the Freedom Caucus began circulating a petition Wednesday to force a special conference meeting so they could debate and vote on a resolution calling on Cheney to resign from her post.
The resolution obtained by POLITICO states that Cheney’s position “does not reflect that of the majority of the Republican Conference and has brought the Conference into disrepute and produced discord.”

I’m not a constituent of hers, but I tried calling her Washington office this morning. I was hoping to be able to leave a message for her, but her mailbox was “conveniently” full.

If we had the scenario where both Biden and Trump didn’t get enough electors, and then the House would have voted by state delegations, it’s not too hard to imagine that Liz and thus the entire Wyoming state delegation of one, would have voted for Biden.
I do not like political dynasties. Many get elected just on their name.

Trump told his children when he met with them to ask them if he should run for President that they (his family) were going to find out who their real friends were.

She WILL BE primaried AND she will lose who ever runs against her WE need to bank roll them HUGE!! WE have to make this happen because the establishment will get behind her!! I don’t know how much money the establishment will have with Adelson passing Koch doesn’t have enough and BIG business seems to have abandon the GOP which is GREAT as far as I am concerned!! Liz Cheney can get in touch with her friend Eric Cantor just down the street over at K Street for a job after she gets primaries in 2022. Cantor made the same mistake too. Arrogance.
The only way to do it is for one Republican challenger from Wyoming.(with a big bank account)
If the field is 5 or 6 Wyoming Republicans “wanting to become famous,” then Cheney will win.
We have to be strategic and coalesce around ONE candidate early.
