Bryce Young relieves Mac Jones at QB.
Honestly Saban is a liberal. He keeps his political opinion to himself. I respect that. He understands his fan base and defers his personal opinion to his supporters. Unlike twitter and pussybook who will flush billions of other peoples $ to feed their ego.
What is this, 18 or 19 national championships for us?
It was good to see Landon Dickerson snap the ball for the victory formation.
Eighteen.
After Kiffin and Sarkisian convinced Coach Saban that the forward pass was not a passing fancy but is actually here to stay I’m anxious to see who he hires to be his Offensive Coordinator next year. Their heir apparent QB is a running QB. And with talented sophmore receivers they just might be more explosive next year. Returning intact defense should ge a big plus as well.
I don't know. I've not seen much of QB Young but he seems a bit small/short and I worry about that.
Otherwise I agree we have a pretty good returning crew....next year could be a good year too.

Yeh, Young is slightly built but then so is DaVonte. I think you can get away with that in college. But once these guys hit the pros where players are bigger, faster and stronger injuries seem to be more common with slightly built players. Kyler Murray, while smallish, has bulked up a bit and is pretty elusive, running usually only when the protection has broken down. Russell Wilson is a bit bigger and IMHO the best scrambling QB since Fran Tarkenton. So, I think bigger pocket passers are better in the pros but smaller players talents can be exploited in college.
