Frankly, I’m afraid we ARE “done for”, FRiend. It’s looking more like we’re at the end of mankind’s last chance to govern itself. I think the end times may be upon us. Actions centered around tweaking politics equate to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
If we did have the time remaining to FIX this, it can’t be done by “trimming more deadwood” from this century-old orchard we have in Washington. The variety planted is too prone to disease and scab. We need to rip it out and replace it with a new type, more resistant to scab, and disease-free.
I think we can talk about picking scabs off in 2023. In 2021 and 2022, we need to be talking about removing the Gavel from Nancy Peloisi’s hands and fighting for any state legislature that’s willing to fight for us. You can always count on democrats to overplay their hand and when they do, we strike. They’re already doing it in fact.
