Reagan would have smashed Antifa/BLM hard over the summer. He did it in California as Governor. Tucker Carlson tried to warn Trump that his hands-off approach would not lead to the desired result.
Exactly. People here are so beholden to Trump that they’ve convinced themselves he’s better than Reagan and we’ve even had a fool on radio say THE greatest mentioning Washington (now THAT’S a leader) or Lincoln (uh....not a fan).
The funny thing is Reagan was a master at the Teddy Roosevelt statement - speak softly (not Trump) and carry a big stick (sometimes Trump, but not last summer!).
I feared his inaction would backfire. I fully appreciate the “state job” part but there IS an insurgency rule (DEFINITELY insurgency) and there IS a point where innocent people have to be protected from these scum if the local powers display dereliction of duty!
I fear some blacks who may’ve voted for him decided “why?” since he didn’t come in and kick BLM butts.
