15 days, they told us, for 15 days/roughly 2 weeks we need to work from home, close non-essential business, cancel concerts, baby showers, bingo games, etc., yada, yada, you know “the thing” (to show my solidarity with a certain presidential candidate) in order to give hospitals a chance to gear up for huge, terrible, overwhelming waves of ‘rona patients.
15 days. Instead, 15 days has now become 260 days. We can argue as to the exact start date of the implementation of Operation Curve Flattening. I am punctuating it from the first day I began working from home per the guidelines in my state.
On December 15, it will be 275 days, less than 100 days to the one-year anniversary.
It will be one day after the Electoral College is supposed to meet.
My own Thanksgiving report is very boring. I spent Thanksgiving along, as I always do, because I can’t behave myself. Based on reports from the non-leftist part of the family about the leftist part, the former wishes they had made the same choice I had. I will leave it at that.
I partied with 23 others, no masks, no social distancing, lots of food, lots of booze, a bit of smoking (tobacco), singing and loud talk, a big F you to the almighty highmaster lord Gavin of Dork, medieval barber......
Fun was had by all, will do it again even harder on Christmas!!!!

Travelled to son and expectant DIL’s house. They are conservatives. My Bernie Bro son in law and leftist daughter haven’t had Thanksgiving with us for eight yrs now.
Since so many females vote Marxist, it makes you question women’s suffrage.
We also are remodeling son and DIL’s bathroom in time for first grandchild
Went to my son and d-i-l’s for Thanksgiving.
My sister-in-law is terrified of the virus, which tells you her political leanings. However we usually have a great time with them and assiduously avoid talking politics when we get together. But this year the risk of corona was too much for her to consider it.
So we really didn’t do much different.
Besides, here in NH Sununu has displayed a fair amount of sanity and while he technically advises masks etc, he has so many exceptions to the mask wearing rule that more people can opt out than should comply.
