I have always voted on election day and I do not plan to change that at this point in my life, virus or no virus. The last two weeks of the election is usually when you learn the most about the candidates.

23 Oct: Newsweek: Democrats Rebuke Biden Over Plans to ‘Transition’ Away From Oil
By James Walker
Rep. Xochitl Torres Small of New Mexico said the oil sector was “part of the backbone” of the state’s economy and pledged to “stand up” to her party when they were “out of touch” with reality...
Her colleague Rep. Kendra Horn of Oklahoma said she also disagreed with Biden on energy policy, and argued that the U.S. had to “stand up for our oil and gas industry.”...

According to U.S. Energy Information Administration data, New Mexico became the country’s third largest oil producer in 2018 and still holds roughly 7 percent of U.S. crude oil reserves.
Oklahoma is close behind as the nation’s fourth largest crude oil producer, offering up 5 percent of all production of the fossil fuel. The state was also home to five refineries as of January last year...

23 Oct: Forbes: Vulnerable Democrats Break With Biden Over ‘Transition’ From Oil Industry
by Andrew Solender
Rep. Kendra Horn (D-Okla.), one of the most endangered House Democrats, affirmed Trump’s reaction...
Another vulnerable freshman Democrat, Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (D-M.N.) warned against “demonizing” the industry and stated she would “continue to stand up to my party when they’re out of touch with the reality on the ground.”...

“Democrats, Republicans and Independents know that the U.S. natural gas and oil industry delivers affordable and reliable energy to American families and businesses and all over the world,” the American Petroleum Institute said in a statement following the debate. “We are proud of the grit, innovation and progress we’ve made so that Americans no longer have to choose between environmental progress and access to affordable, reliable and cleaner energy. And we aren’t going anywhere.”...

23 Oct: CBS Dallas: Gov. Abbott Responds After Biden Calls For ‘Transition’ From Oil
Biden’s statement also got the attention of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who tweeted: “Biden wants to “transition” away from the oil industry. He just killed paychecks earned by hardworking families in Texas. Joe just wants to transition away from Texas. Remember that on election day.”...

“Basically what he is saying is he is going to destroy the oil industry,” Trump said. “Will you remember that Texas? Pennsylvania? Oklahoma? Ohio?”
Trump won all four states in 2016, but Pennsylvania in particular is a pivotal swing state this cycle, with both candidates investing heavily. Ohio is also in play, and Democrats even see Texas as a longshot pickup on an expanded electoral map...

Biden’s comments could also add headaches for Democrats in oil-heavy states. Rep. Kendra Horn, an Oklahoma Democrat who flipped a Republican seat in 2018, tweeted that she disagreed with Biden...
The American Petroleum Institute, a trade association representing the oil and gas industry, said restricting oil and gas production would “jeopardize America’s economic recovery,” increase energy costs, eliminate jobs and shift energy production oversees...

23 Oct: The Hill: OVERNIGHT ENERGY: Democrats play defense, GOP goes on attack after Biden oil comments | Energy Dept. exempts quick dishwashers from existing efficiency standards | Ocasio-Cortez says having Green New Deal would have helped handle COVID-19 pandemic
By Rebecca Beitsch and Rachel Frazin
Vice President Pence is campaigning in Ohio and Pennsylvania on Friday, jumping on Biden’s comments at a rally in Swanton, Ohio.
And less than 24 hours after the debate, the Trump campaign unveiled a new advertisement airing in Pennsylvania that features Biden’s remarks on oil. In the ad, a fracking technician claims that a Biden administration would “end fracking” and be “devastating” to the state...

Tim Murtaugh, Trump’s communications director, told reporters late Thursday that Biden “accidentally told the truth tonight.”
“It is impossible to campaign in places such as Pennsylvania and try to be both things at once. You cannot be Joe from Scranton who cares about American workers’ jobs, people who work in the fracking industry, and have AOC writing your climate change policy at the same time,” Murtaugh said, referencing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)...

Let’s hear from the strategists...
-“I do think that’s going to be used in places like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan,” Basil Smikle, a political strategist and lecturer at Columbia University, told The Hill. “He will have to do a lot of work to clean that up in the next couple of days.”
-Bryan Lanza, a former Trump campaign official, said the debate represented a victory for Trump because he was able to coax errors from Biden.
“I think that’s a huge unforced error,” he said of the oil comments.
“If Texas was ever moving purple this moved it right back to red,” Lanza said. “In Pennsylvania, it reinforces the fears that they’ve had about this guy.”...

The Energy Department on Friday finalized a rule that exempts dishwashers that clean and dry in an hour or less from existing energy and water efficiency standards...
The finalized rule comes days after President Trump appeared to tout his administration’s dishwasher efficiency rollback during a campaign stop in Nevada.
“The dishwashers, they tend to have a little problem, they didn’t get enough water, so people would run them 10 times, so people end up using more water, and the thing’s no damn good,” he said last weekend.
“We freed it up. Now you can buy a dishwasher, and it comes out. It’s beautiful, go buy a dishwasher,” he added...

24 Oct: Reuters: Democrats in U.S. drilling states push back against Biden oil remarks
By Nichola Groom; Additional reporting by Valerie Volcovici
From Texas to Montana, Democrats locked in tight congressional races in Nov. 3’s general election took to Twitter to affirm their support for the fossil fuel industries and workers in their states.
“I’ll always stand up to my party when it’s out of touch with our Montana way of life,” Governor Steve Bullock, who is running for U.S. Senate, tweeted on Friday...

“He is going to destroy the oil industry,” Trump said. “Will you remember that Texas? Will you remember that Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Ohio?”...
“I disagree with VP Biden’s statement tonight,” Democratic Representative Xochitl Torres Small, whose district includes portions of New Mexico’s oil-rich Permian basin, tweeted after the debate, saying the country should not “demonize a single industry.”...
Torres Small said she was willing to break with her party on the issue, a sentiment echoed by Bullock, who briefly sought the Democratic presidential nomination himself, and U.S. Representative Kendra Horn of Oklahoma...

U.S. Representative Lizzie Fletcher, a Democrat running for re-election in Houston, the capital of the U.S. oil industry, said in a statement that Biden’s comments “fail to address the complexity of our energy needs and plan for our future.”...

Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris said Trump was blowing her running mate’s comments out of proportion.
“The president likes to put everything out of context,” the California senator said at a campaign stop in Atlanta.

Perhaps the theory that Joe’s lying was the reason the MSM-Democrats were so adamant about pushing for VBM is not so far wrong.

Why would google have limits on search chart trends?

Is this like Hussein stopping counts of H1N1 infections in 01-2010?

What this proves is that the LIVs are proven LIVs. Wake up and pay attention or dont bother voting. Thank God they’re not on my jury panel.

The Democrats pushed early voting hard and mail in voting because they knew this was going to happen.

At about 20 minutes after 8 this evening a commercial ran on network television (CBS)tying Joe in on making foreign money with Hunter. It wasn't a PAC, but by Trump's campaign itself complete with "I'm Donald J. Trump and I approve this message". POTUS is going for the throat.

Millions of people will be voting the old-fashioned way, on Election Day, in person, including myself and everyone in my family. That includes two first-time voters who will be voting for President Trump.

In person votes should supercede mail in votes. That should be the rule for anti-fraud purposes anyhow.

Whoaaaa.

If it really looks like Biden is headed for the toilet, I bet the Democrats do something drastic. Really drastic.

Trump initiated it, but Welker’s response to Joe was priceless. it ended Biden’s run for the presidency, as I see it:

VIDEO: 22 Oct: Mediaite: Trump Lock Horns as Ex-Veep Says ‘I Would Transition’ America From the Oil Industry
by Ken Meyer
Near the end of the debate, President Donald Trump overran NBC’s Kristen Welker in order to ask Biden “would you close down the oil industry.”

***“I would transition from the oil industry,” Biden answered, which Trump pronounced a “big statement” as Welker asked “WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?”...

I had the day off work so I early voted today. I live in a heavily pro-Trump area of West Virginia (county went Trump by a 70/30 margin in 2016). I was a bit shocked that there was a long line out the door and about a 45 minute wait as there is really not any races in the state that are considered that competitive (President Trump, Governor Jim Justice and Senator Shelly Moore Capito are all running 20+ points ahead in the polls). In the past I’ve never seen a line with more than two or three people ahead of me for early voting, especially on a work day. It seems there is tons of enthusiasm for President Trump even in a state were he hasn’t even campaigned and will sleepwalk to victory.

I have never had the entire voting process take more than 12 minutes. Voting early is a risk. I thought about making the drive today to early vote when I finished work a little early. No. Election day.
