Is The Biden Scandal The Reason Democrats Pushed Voters To Cast Ballots Before Election Day?

Democrats campaigned this year for mail-in and early voting as if it were the most important issue in politics. Now we think we know why: They wanted voters to make their selections before Bidengate arrived.

As of Tuesday, more than 41 million ballots have already been cast, two full weeks before Election Day, and about 30% of the total cast in the 2016 presidential election. How many of those votes were decided before the Hunter Biden email scandal emerged? We’d guess quite a few. One report says that Democratic-affiliated voters have returned their ballots at roughly a 1.4-to-1 ratio over Republican-affiliated voters.

Overall, “Democrats have returned more ballots in 32 states,” reports NBC News. “In Florida and Minnesota, Democratic early votes are outpacing those of Republicans by more than 20 percentage points. In New Hampshire, Democratic early voters are ahead by 36 points.”

Democrats are surely celebrating the fact that a record number of ballots had been turned in by about the time the New York Post published its story about the emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop that strongly suggest Joe Biden sold access to his office as a U.S. senator and a vice president.

“So many ballots have been cast at this point that Joe Biden might be able to murder someone on live television and not have it affect the election,” PJ Media’s Stephen Kruiser quipped in Wednesday’s Morning Briefing.

Democrats had to know that the emails would eventually surface. Hunter Biden left the laptop at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019, according to the Post. It was never picked up...

I have long been opposed to early voting for exactly this reason; that something would come out in the last hours that would have changed minds.

I think Team Trump waited about 2 weeks longer than they should have to unleash this. About a third of voters have already voted and the media wall is still holding pretty firm. The only thing now that will break it before the election is arrests, and Barr has gone all Sessions on us.

Huh? They’d been pushing this for weeks before Hunter’s laptop emails showed up.

I contend the reason Godfather Joey ran for president was to prevent any investigation of his ill gotten gains.... the whole impeachment scam was a deflection away from quid pro Joe.

The problem with that is the ones the democraps are able to push into voting early are democraps who are going to vote democrap no matter what. They’re just cannibalizing their own in person voting. Well, aside from their usual necro-American voting base in the cemeteries, but COVID isn’t really a concern for that bunch. :)

“Undecideds”.

I consider it an extremely pejorative word.

I am not sure it makes that much difference. Guilliani had a copy of the hard drive and Rudy is an astute politician who knows how to time political news.

The emails were released ahead of the final debate to make Biden squirm.

The FBI had the laptop a year ago;
surely, no leaks to the DNC could have occurred...

Part of it. But they are getting destroyed well short of their goals.

In short, yes. That, and the fact that they know Uncle Joe could drop dead at any minute.

Here is a suggested fun little activity to take part in during what I hope is a nice fall weekend in your area:

Drive around your town to do a sign census of Biden signs. Take a passenger or get a driver. One of you writes down the addresses of the houses with Biden signs.

Next weekend repeat your path and cross out houses that removed their signs.

It will be interesting to see how much comes out in the next week about Biden. If it is a lot, it will be interesting to measure its impact. Sign removal is one measure.

As an added bonus, you might get to see some nice Halloween decorations and run into some group trying to raise money by selling hot cider and apple cider donuts.

Stop for lunch someplace and have a hard cider or pumpkin ale and sweet potato fries.

Don’t forget to put an American flag in your car in case you come across a Trump auto rally caravan you can join in on.

I consider it an extremely pejorative word.

The undecideds are only a subgroup of the many people who will vote on election day. I didn't mean to imply that anyone who hasn't voted yet is undecided.

Good question. Getting people to vote early blunts the effect of any October surprise.

I disagree. They couldn’t have known this nasty scandal would have raised its inseemly head. But I do think the Dems urged early voting because of Joe’s undeniably worsening mental condition. There’s no telling what might happen before election day, and they wanted as many votes in the bag as possible before any possibly fatal misstep by unreliable Joe. Pretty sad way to run a campaign . . .

No, they want their voters to vote early so they an determine how many votes they have to cheat by the end of election day. RAT precincts always hold out to last minute so they can manufacture votes.
