[SNIP] This latest carve-out means that mainstream media outlets are now allowed to cover topics that violate YouTube’s rules on conspiracy theories, coronavirus misinformation, and hate speech and add their own “context.” Anyone else who breaks these rules has their videos restricted or removed and puts their channel at risk of deletion.

I subscribed to (but rarely watched) three of those listed channels. SGTreport, Praying Medic, and Destroying The Illusion.

The Leftists always say Communism doesn’t work because we never ran it. So I guess Russia and China need to study us now.

I wonder how they will run the mass citizenry purges, what innovative methods for mass executions they will come up with. Because that is the only way to stop all thought crimes...

““harmful conspiracy theories.” = sometimes educated opinion. Is that not just another phrase for freedom of speech. They are crossing over the line of interstate actions, where’s the FCC now. The FCC said in a 3 to 2 vote ended net neutrality in 2015 that would stop unnecessary regulation. He added that the vote is “restoring the light-touch framework that has governed the internet for most of its existence.”

Commissioner Mignon Clyburn said the move means giving the internet to a “handful of multi-billion dollar corporations.”

However, under the new rules, internet providers will be free to block competing applications. Service providers would also be able to slow down competing services or offer faster speeds to companies that pay more. Pay, as in this case and my opinion, is approval by the democratic party as the items being pulled have nothing to do with business and are political in nature. So if they are forced to divulge who the competition is, it means the payers for this service are drawn out into the open. And at this point, they are violating the first amendment.

What twit and tube really need is to ditch splc as a source of “hate sites’. They are in fact a major hate site thewmselves.

Many of these channels have been well aware of the coming purge and have moved to other venues in anticipation.

If youtube is working under public law 230, like Titter and Facebook, then it may need to re-think its action and will hopefully be included in the Senate inquiry that has been promised, if the Senate Repubelimaybecans actually do it.
