Come on Man, we were in the midst of An Ice Age in the 1970’s when all the pollution we created caused Global Cooling. If it wasn’t for Pollution causing Global Warming in the 1990’s we would all be frozen.
The only thing the GOP-E will make an issue is their position at the Taxpayer Trough.
The CO2 buildup in the ground is indeed causing problems and killing forests. So what are they going to do to fix that problem? Blow holes in the ground to let the lava flow above the ground surface?

There is a way to measure the total global average. Sea level. Water expands when it gets warm. So far ocean level rise is a boring 2 mm per year.
