This riot is taking place at Imperial Highway and Normandie Ave. in South-Central Los Angeles—just down the street from Mom’s Barbecue, best barbecue joint in LA and Jim Dandy Fried Chicken, home of the best fried chicken in LA.
I live a mile from Imperial Highway, but 20 miles to the east.
In one of the pictures, rioters are taking cover behind a 1968 Cadillac.
