There is no doubt that the incredible advancements we have seen in technologies, sciences, and other fields have given modern civilizations unparalleled capabilities and greatly increased the speed at which things are taking place in the world today. As we have become accustomed to the benefits of these modern developments and become dependent upon them, it is hard to imagine living life without them. There are, however, many questions as to all of the repercussions and changes that will ensue; for the great power and effects of these amoral inventions are yet to be fully realized. It is with this in mind that it should be understood that as modern advancements have been used in positive ways, the doors to many dangers have also been opened; for such great power may also be employed for universal evil on a scale never seen before. . .
