I keep wondering why the Portland police even bother to show up. No job is worth being constantly attacked. If the Portland mayor and other leaders don’t want their city protected from these animals, I say let these Soro-ites burn it to the ground. JMHO

IF the city leadership doesn’t care, why should the police put themselves in harms way....doesn’t make a lot of sense to sane folks.

A “knight in shining armor” rioter. May he literally re-create that Monty Python scene.
Injured rioter, moaning for help. When police medic starts to walk over, another rioter admonishes him - “not you! we need another medic”. To which the police medic ignores, and gives medical assistance.
Somewhere there is a really funny meme waiting to be made featuring apes perplexed by human behavior.

I couldn’t work under these conditions, the only thing I can assume is that they would immediately be under financial distress and health coverage distress for their families if they quit.
The larger question is why the citizens haven’t burned city hall down with the city council inside, as long as rioting is going on without consequences.
You would have to dilute it first.
That’s as far as I’ll take the lesson right now.
