Again, to keep things in perspective, here is how Florida fares among the top four most populous states——
CALIFORNIA 502,000 total cases and 9,200 total deaths—population percent above age 65 equals 14.3%
TEXAS 443,000 total cases and 7,000 deaths-—population percent above age 65 equals 12.6%
FLORIDA 470,000 total cases and 6,800 deaths-—population percent above age 65 equals 20.5%
NEW YORK 444,000 total cases and 32,800 deaths-—population percent above age 65 equals 16.4%
It is pretty obvious that among the four most populated states in the USA NEW YORK has had the worst record by far in managing the covid pandemic
