Jake Tapper had assistant secretary of Health and Human Services Adm. Brett Giroir on his show on Sunday to talk about Covid testing. Giroir is the testing “czar” for the coronavirus task force.
Tapper started out absolutely KNOWING that testing isn’t being done, not enough, not well enough, and that it’s Trump’s fault, and he was ready to make this government goon answer for that!
And when the government goon actually had an answer, Jake got mad. So he changed the parameters. And when there was still a terrific answer, Jake changed them again. And when that didn’t work he accused Giroir of being afraid of Trump, and said Trump is personally preventing more testing and they’re all too chicken to bring it up.
And when Giroir smacked THAT down it was all “JAKE SMASH”. You have to watch and also the transcript is below, with blow-by-blow.
He answered well and intelligently. Just like every time one of these comes out with the acclaimed “boom”...there is none.
I’ve never listened to Tapper before. It’s fascinating how he can carry on both sides of the interview on his own, answering his own questions without the need for the guest to say a word.
But surely people that are invited to be interviewed must sometimes have the mistaken impression that they’re supposed to do something other than sit there and get lectured at. I suppose that’s how the Admiral felt. Lesson learned, I hope.
If that is how you own a person, standards must have been lowered. Lame as hell!
Tapper was unnecessarily confrontational and got his butt politely handed him by virtue of the facts.
Tapper started with a false premise and when the admiral refused to accept that and try to defend a lie Tapper got visibly upset. He didn’t care about the answers, he just got petulant. Quite obvious that he wasn’t being a journalist conducting an interview, he was being a partisan trying to trip someone up to score points for his side.
Eat your roll.
Yeah Jake, all you have to do is tell them “D it” and like magic it’s done. That’s how it works with all disease, right? Why didn’t Obama invoke the defense production act to cure cancer if it’s so simple?
i wish he would have said that we test a lot of people and have found a lot of people who have had the virus without being sick... about 98% of people testing positive have no symptoms or are very mild. 98%. so jake, your trying to scare everyone is just hyperbole.
Couldn’t watch it. Tapper started out with a lecture of his own instead of asking questions.
In a 4:57 min. interview Tapper goes on for more than a minute before he lets the man speak, who promptly hands it to him.
Tapper wants more positives to wring out more cases.
I usually don’t wish harm on people, but Jake Tapper is a piece of schiff. He harms our nation. I hope he gets the ChiCom Flu and dies.
You cannot win an argument with a crazy person or a moron. There is no point even trying. You and they do not share the same concept of what is real and what is not.

Just like they pounded ventilators and we produced too many, so they pounded testing so they could make the narrative about cases, they are now pounding DPA so they can allege *dictatorship*.
It’s all they got.
It would have been better if he had reached through the camera and pummeled Tapper’s smug face.
I feel kinda’ sorry for the deluded, weak-minded, brainwashed people that believe all the horse shit the left constantly exudes. I’ve tried to personally debate many of them and their arguments are always lies and beyond pathetic.
