If any of you are looking for something to do this weekend since regular July 4th activities have been rendered difficult to undertake, I highly recommend some videos made by an independent journalist in Ohio, Jack Windsor, and his discussions with two data scientists.

Covid19 Data Discussion

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYYcoUxj8N8

The videos were divided into three separate YouTube segments. You will find the first two cut off abruptly and the last minute or so is repeated in Part 2 and 3.

There a few fits and starts in the videos due to technical issues. It seems one of the participants might have too many teenagers in his house using their computers at the same time, thus causing bandwith problems. There is also a little bit of learning curve issue with the technology, but the videos are still well worth listening to.

They were so interesting to me I ended up listening to them one after the other.

They talk about the manipulation of the data by state governments. I think the videos were made about a week or so ago, so they don't necessarily discuss what Sundance discusses exactly, but the themes are the same.

Explosive? Who besides us reads the CTH?...no one. Who else will be reporting this besides ‘conservative outlets’? no one

Contact tracing is the most absurd idea of the century. No common sense. Whoever dreamed up the concept is a fool.

Purely anecdotal on my part but I don’t hear anyone saying they know people who have it. Any similar observations? Just curious.

As these numbers go up and knowing that most of them have no symptoms is a big plus. Take todays numbers....each case was infected in say....the last 10 days....but that one person likely infected 15 or maybe 20 people. So of course the numbers will go up. No matter...it’s how many are in the hospital and in serious condition ONLY because of this bug.

NONSENSE!!!!

No liberal/progressive/socialist/communist would ever distort the truth for political gain!

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old fart’s life, it's worth it.

Covid fear media pron will continue as long as economy looks to be turning around to the level before this ‘pandemic’ hit.

The looming question is, WHEN IS SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY GOING TO STEP AND AND DISCUSS ALL THE MANIPULATED DATA?

I don't see any evidence of any spike in cases in this report directly from the CDC, dated July 3, 2020.

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/faq-surveillance.html

And download the PDF report with this:

Use of the FDA Approved positive lab IgG or IgM does NOT identify a new case. IgG antibodies are produced late during the recovery process, and IgM antibodies are the immunity antibodies that protect you from future infection. These cannot be considered "new" cases.

An increase in FDA Approved positive lab IgG or IgM test is very good news, as it represents an increase in "herd immunity" which is nature's way of protecting humans from viruses.

This is very annoying. For research purposes, definitions and such should remain considered. Seems there is a lot of subjectivity going on.
