The video where he first emerges from the vehicle appears to show him resisting putting on the cuffs. Not a violent struggle, but suggestive of a strong man being uncooperative. Why they put him on the ground after he was in handcuffs and standing by a wall is still unexplained. As in all of these situations, I won’t prejudge the result without all the evidence. At first glance it doesn’t look good for the arresting officers, but we’ve had too many of these situations where additional evidence was brought forward to hang them without a trial.
I assume you have not watched the original 9 minute plus video. There is literally nothing that can excuse what is on that video.
Every American should be horrified in what took place on that video.
Because someone handcuffed can still ring your bell, break your jaw and basically ruin your day.
“Why they put him on the ground after he was in handcuffs and standing by a wall is still unexplained. “
To me there has always been an element of deliberate humiliation here. Cops didn’t used to do this. Just a guess but these days there are a great many people on police forces who have no hope of controlling a grown man if he doesn’t want to be. So they alter “training” to lower risk.

Yeah, they conveniently didn’t show that part of the video. They cut it off rather than show what happened next. When he sat, he was getting into a rice-paddy squat when he could spring up. The cop was telling him to sit the rest of the way down. Then the camera cuts.
Convenient.
