N95 mask
This is for people coming in contact with patients. I am concerned with trying to re-use the disposable N95 mask. In the paper they mention putting a loose surgical mask over the N95 to help keep it clean.
I bought a UVC light that will kill viruses - so am thinking to use it on stuff like the mask, phone, keys, etc. The UVC light is dangerous to eyes and skin though - so will probably rig up a cardboard box with some aluminum foil inside. (I already have plenty of foil left over from all the hats I made!)
Hopefully this virus can be contained to China for the most part. And that it doesn’t get too bad there. But I really doubt it.
Oh - in that paper they said that for SARS, most people out in public that got it, got it by touching an object and then putting their hand near their face, drink, food, etc. The chances of getting it through the air is much less.
I’m not sure I want to take those chances.
