Wonder if they are as good a battery as they used to be?
I bought a rural king and it only lasted a year.
Doesn’t have to be perverted. That’s up to you. The world would be a better place with a channel showing Die Hard all day. And the fact that they’re still doing that with Christmas Story (which is a really good movie I really like) shows it won’t get over saturated. The Die Hard movement’s been around a long time. Just getting more traction lately as more and more people rebel against saccharine crap.
So I have a question.
Our family watched Die Hard on Christmas Eve. We noticed that during half of the gun battles, you couldn’t hear the guns fire. Was the movie always like this or is this some PC attempt to make the guns less real?
Youre seeing it as if it is in contemporary culture. It is a story told before government would take care of George and his family.
He adored his wife and kids, frustrated that he couldnt go off to get a good education and provide for a family in the way hed imagined.
The frustration comes out along with fear when he comes home to look around at the family totally dependent on him and hes just lost the stockholders money. He will lose his house tge family will be homeless.
He sees his sick kid then loses it.
Funny, we did the same thing... watched Its A Wonderful Life in its entirety for the first time. We almost turned it off as the first hour was excruciatingly slow, but we figured wed better finish it for once in our lives. Im glad I watched, but never again.
Die Hard is still our favorite CHRISTMAS MOVIE.
Sears just sold Die Hard.
I take it that Potter was the kind of big busniessmman who supported the facist new deal, and Bailey was the kind of small busniess banker the new deal was destroying. Capra was anti-monopolist, and the New Deal ran on that.
I love that the director dropped Rickman a split second before he was expecting it, getting that authentic reaction shot.
So did I...
It’s in our rotation every December!
We also won at Christmas Movie Trivia with ‘The Fam’ on Christmas Eve. We knew ALL the ‘Die Hard’ answers.
Winning! :)
We may as well argue over that old Miller Lite beer commercial!

Bravo!
I like your story and your name.
Truly? Watched it on Christmas, and commented on Rickman’s perfect facial expression as he falls.
Oh, yeah. I wonder if Rickman wanted to throttle him for the “trick.”
One of my favorite actors. Gone too soon
