In the tweet confirming he switched his official residency from New York to Florida, President Trump said, “Despite the fact that I pay millions of dollars in city, state and local taxes each year, I have been treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state.”
As if on cue, those leaders instantly proved his point. “Good riddance,” thundered Gov. Cuomo. “Don’t let the door hit you on your way out,” chimed in Mayor de Blasio. Their sneering hostility is yet another example of how Cuomo and de Blasio are failing to take advantage of having a fellow New Yorker in the White House. Do they really believe they can heap abuse on Trump, and he will grant their every wish for federal aid?
Do they shower their harshest critics with generous favors?
Trump is the first New Yorker to be president since FDR, yet city and state Democrats won’t even show basic respect for the office. Instead of honey, it’s all bile and vinegar as they engage in constant attacks and use their power to harass, investigate and punish the president, his family and his businesses.

Politically, this move may help Trump.
It’s going to be really hard to hold Florida in 2020.
However, if one million felons get their voting rights restored - approved in 2018 midterm election - it will be impossible to hold Florida.

POTUS, Donald J. Trump and New York City Citizen did more positive things for not only New York City, but the entire tri-state area, NY, NJ & CT, then Cuomo & DeBlasio combined.
- Construction & Operation of numerous Buildings in NYC
- Construction & Operation of New Jersey Hotel/Casinos
- Brought and operated the “Trump Shuttle Airline”
- Brought major revenue through his TV career with NBC
- Supported numerous charity activities
Also did major contstructions in both Las Vegas, Nevada and the state of Florida with multiple hotels and golf course operations.
- Employed thousands of Americans, women & men in the “Tri-State” area with high paying jobs across the board.
Democrat, low lifes, Cuomo and DeBlaiso do not even come close to what Trump did for New York!!! In fact both of them are destroying New York with each passing day.
Note: 65,000 New Yorkers left the state last year, most of them moving to Florida & Texas where the are booming, low tax opportunities!!!
Not really-— as of July per the same ballot amendment- the legislature amended the laws as voted on the ballot— they exclude murderers, sex offender, and several other categories, and those that remain must clear court ordered fees and any fines they have.All responsibility is on the the felons for compliance with the new payments law, who risk prosecution if they get it wrong. The elections security is cross referenced to all of these- and they cannot register to vote without clearing these fines and fees, or any recent outstanding ones. They have til Feb. 18th to have done this, when registration ends. No provisional ballots possible for these either.
First Amazon, now Trump. Who would want to move a business to New York listening to these reactions?

The NY Post was anti-Cuomo and anti-DeBlasio. Seemed to be a pro-Trump article to me.
Schools are bad and lots of crime.

The NY Post is also anti-gun, has uncritical man-love for the NYPD and is Murdoch tabloid trash although they are as close as you can come to a conservative publication in this part of the country.
