Universal Studios has canceled the release of its violent new R-rated massacre movie, “The Hunt,” for now, but the fact it even was made shows we’ve reached a dangerous new point in our political culture.
You have to wonder what twisted minds would dream up this liberal fantasy of jet-setting elites hunting down conservatives like vermin.
“They’re not human beings” the Hillary Swank character says at one point, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “The Hunt,” originally titled “Red State vs. Blue State,” is a sign of where irrational Trump hatred has taken us. It’s what the left is doing in real life. They’re dehumanizing their opponents and trying to incite violence against them.
The president’s detractors have tried for almost three years to break him. Russia didn’t work, Stormy didn’t work. Impeachment won’t work.
They’ve smeared his wife, his kids. They call him a fat slob, a psychopath and a Russian agent.

Same here. On Left Wing sites, I’m often called a Nazi, Fascist, Racist, etc.
My response: “Of course I am, I voted for Trump”
They NEVER have anything to say at that point - they’re disarmed.
It worked in 2018. It may work again in 2020. Many on our side like to laugh at the DEMs, but they are incrementally changing the country and no one is stopping them, not even Trump.
It’s going to get worse. While the police become neutered, they will create chaos as the DemonKKKRATs and their media lackeys spurs them on.
I refuse to take seriously anything written in the NY Post ever since they came out for gun control. They basically lick the boots of the NYPD while demonizing gun owning civilians.

I think the Movie should be released.
It uses the same formula as other Movies and the Plot twist turns it into a classic revenge story.
Now, if the two sides were reversed it would not be believable since Trump Supporters wouldn’t think it was moral to hunt down defenseless people because of their Political differences.

I am a proud deplorable, who touts my support of PDJT as much as possible, despite living in the hopelessly blue state of Maryland. At least, my county actually overwhelmingly voted to MAGA in 2016.
To create a revolution, one needs to control language. We have a great opportunity here to redefine “racist” in a meaningless term. (It almost is now.) If someone calls you a racist, respond with stuff like “Yep, I’m like totally racist. Did you catch the Phillies game yesterday? It was so racist. ... I hear there is a big thunderstorm coming tonight. We are supposed to get a lot of really racist rain.”
The people acting in movies say things that they don't actually mean.
And even when they agree with what their characters say, they are aware of irony and tone, things that might undercut what those characters are saying.
You might consider that a character who says other people aren't human beings isn't meant to be an attractive or admirable character.
