AG Barr’s father did not hire him.
AG Barr’s father had left the school, I believe, 2 years prior to him being hired.
Lefties seem to have a continuing problem with timelines.

Sex slavery? That is quite a stretch. Ive only read the reviews of this book and I see nothing to suggest its anything more than science fiction stories about space.
But the question of how Epstein got a teaching job in a prestigious school without a degree has been established as a fact. How did that happen?
To: Perseverando
Remember The Dalton School, where Epstein taught and (A.G.) Barrs headmaster dad got pushed out, then Gardner P Dunnan came in to be Headmaster..?
He had a 14 yo girl living at his house...! Good God.
She couldnt afford the tuition, no father in the house, etc:
Dunnans wife was dying of cancer, they gave the poor girl a place to stay, but Gardner Dunnan nice proxy dad was molesting the 14 y.o.
THAT is where Anderson Cooper went to school, wow.

This was published in 1971, and is a brilliant combination of economics, politics and dirty fighting. Not surprising really, since the author was in the OSS in Germany, when he wasn't displaying flashes of lightning at Columbia, etc. This is story about John Craig, a young man in the state department of the future, who is confidently looking forward to taking over from the secretary when he's captured by slavers, then sold on the planet Kossar. His new master is the gorgeous Lady Morgan Sidney. Guess what terrible secret she and the planet Kossar are hiding? Will John 'Smith' be able to save her and the planet from themselves? Enjoy! In short, it would make a great movie without much need for special effects. One of the greatest pleasures of the book is the excellent poetry (so very rare these days) the author puts in the mouth or hand of the hero. A great example is the short poem in both latin and english, from the medieval tradition. If you don't read latin (I don't), get someone to translate it for you (like my brother), or a simple latin dictionary to increase your appreciation of the author's craftsmanship. It's not critical to enjoying the story (which my brother did), but it helps round out the hero's character. The story is definitely more adult than nearly all sci-fi of the period. I'm almost tempted to believe the author wrote it because of a wager or challenge of some kind. In any case, we are all the richer for it. My main criticism is the cover of the paperback, a multi level platform with 'cities or towns' on each level; it has nothing to do with the story; and it may explain the relative poor sales of the book. On the otherhand, maybe it was to be a blind, to protect the "racy" insides from innocent browsers or parents. Although I think Ian Fleming would probably have been disapointed by it. Donald Barr may have written only a couple of scifi novels, but both are great masterpieces of each aspect of the genre. But Abe Books, along with the ISBN, shows it as published in 1974.

Observe as Bill and Hillary get a complete pass and this all becomes about William Barr and his associates.

I read that book. Yes, slavery is a huge part of the story but it’s written like a ‘victorian romance’. The main character is enslaved as part of a raid on the ship he was on, and his owner falls in love with him. He eventually saves everyone from alien invaders (it is science fiction after all). I’m not sure that Donald Barr is the AG’s son, need to check that.

I think it was a liberal school that wanted to be known for their ‘summerhill’ approach to education. It was a stupid idea from the 60’s that assisted with destroying education in the United States. All that ‘free spirit’ crap...

If a character in paperback science fiction becomes a slave, isn't it a pretty good bet that he'd become a sex slave?
The sex makes the books profitable.

Apparently few people on this thread read Sci-Fi. A lot of Sci-Fi have a slavery thread. And why not. It has only been recently that humans in general have regarded all slavery as bad rather then just bad if it happens to you or people who are like you.
In all likelihood slavery will make a comeback as we spread out into the stars or remain on earth. People like to have people they can order around who have no option but to obey. It is a sad and unpleasant character flaw in some humans.

i’d rename your title to include how father and son Barr are both ex-CIA then go deeper to answer all the questions with the deep state connection between all players, the Barrs, Epstein, and Maxwell. Dalton is a deep state campus.
