I have a few articles I’ve authored. I’ll dig em out for you.
Do a separate thread and in your comments section post a link to this one so people who see the second thread but missed the first one can find it easy.
I hope you know HTML.
If you use HTML at all in your thread or comment, when you go to post a link to something, you have to format it in HTML as well.
However, is you don’t use any HTML, then just copy and paste the link and it will be active and work just fine.
Thank you. I hope I can do it without messing up!
Appreciate that, I’d love to read them.
FWIW, should you get into discussions with liberals, it would be good for you to know that although we are overall Trump supporters, that does not mean we are blind to his flaws nor that we approve of everything he says.
Some things he has come out with are cringe worthy, but he does have this nations best interest at heart, and the alternatives were NOT acceptable.
We didn’t expect a perfect man nor did we think we were electing one. We elected someone whom we thought would get the job done and so far his track record at keeping campaign promises is stellar compared most of his predecessors, who promise us the moon on a silver platter, and all we get is mooned.
Those rules basically sound like the Democrat Congress in action!
I’m not sure how to ping someone, but I hope to finish Part 2 today and I’ll look at how to do stuff, maybe post here and but reply all. I never dreamed I’d get this response!
Good post metmom. I love my discussions with liberals. Redpilled a few over the years.
That’s right.
The fun thing is, if you notice, PDJT does it to them.
And we can too.
In the “To:” field you see this instruction.
(use semi-colons to separate multiple recipients)
So basically on this post I pinged my self. Make sense?
To ping someone......
When you click on “Post Reply” You will see at the top “To: (use semi-colons to separate multiple recipients)” with the person’s name in it.
If you want to do more than one person at a time, just put a semi-colon after each name and either enter the names by hand or copy and paste them in the “To:” field.
So for some of the people on this thread who have responded to you, you could put as many names in as you want and it would look like this...... ;CJ Wolf;Lazamataz; Chicken Soup;
and so on.
They MUST BE spelled right although capitalization does not matter.
FR courtesy is that if you mention someone in your post, you add them as a courtesy ping. The reply is to the first person on the list, the others are just notified that someone mentioned them or referred to them, or you are bringing it to their attention because you think they may be interested in the topic or they were part of the group discussion.
Personally, I would post part 2 as a separate thread and ping some that have shown interest. But your choice.
Much clearer. :-)
Better late than never. Having read ‘Free to Chose’ in High School convinced me. Believing in God took another 40 years for me .
I remember the trouble I had learning how to post on FR.
I was and still am fairly computer illiterate, but I have learned enough HTML to get by on FR.
FR is by far and away the most user friendly discussion site on the internet.
You know who you’re replying to, what post number it is, you can go look at other replies to a post you’re following, etc.
I would advise adding it to this thread as a post, you can address it to All or reply to yourself. Freepers tend to like to see things consolidated. There is also a way you as the author of the thread can modify the name, you could add Part 1 and II so that people who read part one will know you added it. I am not sure how to do that however. I don’t start many threads. But from what I have seen people will be looking forward to seeing it so I would definitely keep it on the same thread.
Thank you, I will see what I can figure out.
Thank you, I will see what I can learn and manage.
For me belief in God came before abandoning Democratism.
