None of Springsteen’s songs are on my playlist of favorite songs. Never bought any of his albums or went to any of his concerts.

I am a subscriber to his station. I watched that one this morning. It is good, as usual, and also the first one where he actually sings (that I’m aware of).

I can tell which of the two partners is going to talk with these videos. His starts with the engine starting up. His partners’ start with a guitar playing.

All of their videos are absolutely fantastic.

Well, so far on FR I’ve learned that Springsteen, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones never had any talent as musicians or songwriters.

Chuck Berry wrote and recorded a bunch of great songs. He is up there at the top with Little Richard and Buddy Holly in my opinion in his influence on rock and roll. He was cheap and lazy as far as live performances, used local pick up musicians when he did a show to avoid paying professionals and didn’t really care about his fans.

Springsteen puts much more effort into his
work and into actually being a musician and performer. Appearing with Hillary in 2016 killed any pretense of being an advocate for the working man, but that is pretty much just an act for any multi-millionaire performer (they’re all limousine liberals). ‘Born to Run’ got a lot of attention, but check out ‘Darkness On The Edge of Town’ and ‘Nebraska’ for some fine work.

What an extremely awesome commentary! I had seen both Chuck and Bruce live, front row seats, and actually also met Bruce when he was starting out. This video is a great tribute to an outstanding American original, as a musician and lyricist — Chuck Berry.

There's a garage in Blauvelt, NY that was converted into a studio where Springsteen recorded Born to Run, that's been landmarked by the Rockland Cty Historical Assoc. It's located near the Gentleman's Club, a notorious strip club. FEH!!

Springsteen should be the poster child for “cultural appropriation”. If it weren’t for Robert Johnson, Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters and other bluesmen from the past he’s be just another White trash from the Jersey Shore, crashing Chevelles on the Garden St Parkway.
