HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) A new HopCat opening in Holland this year will bring 160 jobs to the area.
The HopCat at 84 West 8th Street is expected to open in late April. Developers have said the 6,200-square-foot restaurant will feature 80 taps and indoor seating for 250 people, along with an outdoor dining area that can accommodate 70 additional guests. BarFly Ventures LLC says it will follow its tradition of no two HopCats looking the same.
Barfly Ventures is currently looking for 160 people to staff the new restaurant, including front desk employees, bartenders, cooks, bussers, dishwashers and servers. Those interested can apply in person at 212 South River Ave. or on Barfly Ventures website. The deadline for applications is April 12.
Sixteen other cities are already home to a HopCat restaurant, including downtown Grand Rapids, Knapps Corner in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.
