Thanks so much for posting this-I was raised in a rural area on a ranch where the food we ate was all organic and in season because it was what we grew and my family were all strict natural living types-I eat the seasonal veggies from the local market now because it is what I’m used to and like-it makes perfect sense, but I never considered the health benefits of eating seasonally-having had the advantage of being raised in the natural lifestyle, I’m interested in researching this dietary advice more in depth...
It makes sense in many ways. Eat more raw stuff like salads and cucumbers when they’re ready to eat, and it’s hot out and body needs to cool down.
In the winter, more root vegetables and foods that store like legumes etc, and not much raw stuff.
