Is this the same wimmins team that was destroyed by the Under 15 Dallas league team?

Cuz an Under 15 boys team in Dallas beat their scrawny butts 5-2 in a warm up scrimmage back in 2017.
This isn’t about a court of law. Are you suggesting the women get paid based on TV ratings?
get a real job. or better yet focus on raising your kids well instead of focusing on more money.
Yes, if they are producing more money in TV, merchandising & ticket sales. I realize they need to prove that.
Why are ameteur athletes being paid?
Wouldn’t that make them professionals?
Why are there men’s and women’s teams?
If they are doing equal work, why isn’t there just an American team?
The discussion had nothing to do with football. The theme was women’s soccer pay versus men’s.
I could not care less about the difference in stadium size between football and soccer. I played both in high school but have watched less than a dozen soccer matches in the decades since. Football, on the other hand, is far more prevalent and much more interesting to watch. I would posit that the majority in These United States agree with that assessment.
I was just thinking outside the box to bring perspective of what we're talking about. The women's soccer pay vs. men's soccer pay seems like a small argument if you step back and look at all sports and realize the argument within the soccer sport is fussing loudly over a very small portion of the sports industry.
No argument there. But the industry did not grow in a vacuum. American football has a tremendously large following here, we are even exporting the concept to England and Japan. US Soccer, on the other hand, does not have the cult-like following that the remainder of the world suffers from. You cannot go one news cycle without hearing about massive fights breaking out after a match between Manchester and Liverpool. I mean, it’s almost like they are hockey teams...
Tell you what.
Let’s have a game between the Mens and Womens team and see who wins.
And I’ll even spot the Women ten goals. The men will still win by twenty.
I'd argue that soccer and football are like Star Trek and Star Wars. Remember when they were making different Star Trek series in the late 80's to 90's? I worked with programmers who were very passionate about it and that's all they talked about for years. They could talk about it every day and make you think Star Trek had more of a following than Star Wars. But the Trek movies simply had nothing close to the same movie attendance as Star Wars. Star Wars fans may not talk about it as much -- but they have many more fans than Trekkies do.
That's what I think the soccer phenomenon is like compared to college football. Yeah, soccer has more people who speak about it all the time, but not as many people actually attending. And by they way, if you think people don't talk about college football endlessly and get all bent out of shape over it, you need to visit Alabama one day. :)
I think we are in violent agreement about this issue.
