I drove over to the site and while still far from completion, and obvious restrictions on getting too close to the site, the size and scope is very impressive.

There have been many natural gas projects in the area. In a small town, Smithton, there is a newly completed {in the past month} natural gas to electricity generation plant.

The facility can deliver enough electricity to sustain 940,000 homes. This will cause less dependence on coal, but it is the market at work, and not a gummint mandate.

People in W PA are working and if you don't have a job, it's because you don't want to work.

This past week, I met an 86 year old widower, that had just sold his home in Florida, and moved back to his other home in W PA, and is working at an auto parts shop for $16/hr. He said all of his FL buddies had died and he still has some friends and family here, so he came north and is working to fill his day.

There are jobs available, and if you have any trade skills {plumbing, electrical etc} you can work 7 days a week.
