The smokescreen - White House Objects to Legislation Protecting Military Chaplains from Doing Same-Sex Weddings
In a policy statement released Wednesday, the White House Office of Management and Budget outlined numerous objections to aspects of the fiscal year 2013 National Defense Authorization Bill (H.R. 4310). The bill was reported out of the House Armed Services Committee last week and is set to be debated in the House, beginning Wednesday.

Easy to see now in retrospect.

They just made legal the propaganda ops against us that they’d long been performing anyway.

#70 - ...I have literally spent hours trying to recall/find the article/story/subject your pic brought to mind and I finally found it.

The saddest thing from my POV is that I knew about it and didn't post about it when I first read about it.
That first article I linked to was from July 14, 2013.

The thread itself may not have grabbed you, but my reply in the thread has grabbed you now, hasn't it.

I don’t know if this helps but may give some ideas.

The Congressional Review Act was passed in 1996. In essence it says all regulation has to be reviewed by congress before being implemented. It has been largely ignored, putting into question much regulation and law. It is good legislation, required Congress to revisit the law they passed.

https://fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/R43992.pdf

This is how Trump eliminated a lot of Zero’s last minute regulation, a technicality of not following CRA, not a discussion of the issue. In my research only about 100 items have been reviewed under CRA?

So what happens if something in the last 23 years should have been submitted under CRA and wasn’t? In theory, current regulation is canceled as if it never existed.

But this is a can of worms and no one want’s to open it. Except Trump of course. It is a loaded gun that can be fired forward and backward and at us. But it is GOOD LAW, forcing govt to move slowly. But like much law, can be ignored as it has since 1996.

I am working on a particular bit of regulation passed in 2013 and have determine that it was never been reviewed under CRA. My next step is determining if it SHOULD HAVE BEEN REVIEWED by the Government Accountability Office GAO. If it should have and wasn’t I have to find out how to pull the trigger.

So if you really want to do something about it, I have given you a tool. Trump has established precedence for us.

Good hunting...…………………………………..

Interesting.

In a nutshell for those who didn’t read or watch the video - The law was originally made in 1948, after WWII, stating the government couldn’t use propaganda against its people. However, it was amended in May 10, 2012, seven months before Sandy Hoax, that the government had power over every format of broadcasting from tv to radio to movies to social media, etc. IOW, fake news originating from the US government is now perfectly legal. The US government now has full power to use propaganda against its own citizens and abroad.

Don’t forget freaky giggly SH coroner Carver’s bill about the same time to close autopsy reports of children to the public and later closed death certificates.

You would think some company being raked over the coals for a new punitive regulation would have challenged the same in court by now.

We’re not supposed the hear or read the hooey we pump to others.

During WWII, some English bombers dropped leaflets over Germany. Some of them made their way back home where the government forbade anyone reading them. The justification, believe it or not, was to keep the information from falling into enemy hands. As one MP put it, “I think the Germans already know what’s in the leaflet.”
