Belt-Fed Full Auto Pellet Gun
Am Shooting Journal ^ | 3/4/2019 | J Jason

This could be one of the greatest ideas of all Plinking time.
Not everyone can own a fully automatic firearm. But anyone can own this very cool belt-fed, 15-grain, .22-caliber pellet rifle and have a helluva time. Thats right you don’t need the blessing or stalked by the ATF.
This isn’t the pellet gun that you had as a youth while shooting at squirrels. This air gun can pump out a pellet at 600 feet per second.
On full auto, you’re looking at 700 pellets per minute when you pull the trigger harder. Unfortunately, reloading is quite the chore, you have to manually insert a 22 pellet into the belt.

Sure, this air gun doesn't have real-world practical use. It couldn't be used in airsoft and there are probably technicalities in most states’ laws that would prohibit using this for hunting. Still, this thing just looks like too much fun to pass up. Who wouldn’t enjoy a full-auto pellet gun? The SMG 22 can take plinking to a whole new level of fun.
Part of the novelty here is likely just being able to say you own a belt-fed gun. The downside is in the price. This toy costs more than $500, this is one expensive pellet gun! See the rest of this full auto pellet gun.

Hmmm... The gun in the pic of this thread looks like a drum-fed full auto. The article has pics of the belt-fed model.

Looks like fun though.

The video explains that the belts load into the drum.

This toy costs more than $500, this is one expensive pellet gun!

Actually it's on the low end of PCP's but you'll still have to buy a fill tank in which to re charge the air cylinder so you're looking at about another $550...........

I know you’ve heard it before (and this is not directed at you personally), but the ‘editors’ at American Shooting Journal would be hard-pressed to pass high-school English. Rarely do I read any of their articles without seeing grammatical errors, misuse of punctuation marks, poor sentence construction and/or outright misspellings.

I finally sent an email to their editorial staff to that effect, so tired have I become of the sloppiness of their work.

Otherwise, interesting articles...

FWIW I have a Umarex Steel Storm — not nearly as fancy as this — it has a reservoir of 200 BBs.

By sliding a side lever forward 30 BBs are loaded into the ‘active’ chamber.

You can choose to shoot one BB at a time or six. Five pulls of the trigger happen in seconds and 30 BB’s have been fired.

The Steel Storm uses two standard CO2 cartridges and if you coat them with PelGun Oil they hold their charge for months.

Excellent ‘gun’ to eradicate nuisance critters.

$80.00 +/-.

Not meant to hijack the thread in anyway, just thought some here may not have heard of this clever device. (Also just checkin’ that my fingers still work at -20).

He doesn't GAF. He's just the ultimate blogpimp, wanting more hits.

He deserves credit for being consistent, one would suppose.

The guy in the video doesn’t even know how to properly shoulder a weapon. He shoots like a girl.
