We went through this same crap in 1980 with the infamous CPT Katy Wilder. Any of you Brothers remember that debacle? The PC crowd are doing the same thing in Ranger School. When will these “Perfumed Prince” Flag Officers learn.
What ever happened to Captain Wilder?
I was assigned at the Ranger Department at Harmony Church (Ft Benning) when that debacle was going down. Our cadre was jumping through hoops as a result of that one incident as to why females weren’t eligible for attendance to the Ranger Course.
Don’t remember hearing a word of it - of course I had just finished working in a giant SCIF in Italy for a few years and the only media available was piped (from an internal source) music so i wasn’t up on a lot of news unless it hit AFRTS while I was at chow.
