New to voting are you?

Every time you go to the polls they check off your name. THAT is how they know you voted!

When you turn in an absentee ballot they check off your name. THAT is how they know you voted.

These records are PUBLICrecords and anyone can see who has voted and who has not voted. It is not a conspriacy. Moreover it keeps everyone honest by providing a public record of who has voted, so that someone cant come in after you voted and try to vote for you.

No, sir. Your ballot return is NOT public record until after the election. You can ask about your ballot online, but other information such as your birthdate is required.

General party affiliation numbers are available. That’s it. There is no voter intimidation of, “Go see Mr. CodeToad and get him to send in his ballot. We haven’t received his yet.”

Creepy voter intimidation voicemail, al la Ted Cruz.
