Its been almost two years since Hillary Clinton lost the presidential election to Donald Trump in a stunning upset. Director Michael Moore lays out his take on how Trump pulled off the surprise victory in his latest film, Fahrenheit 11/9, in theaters Friday. (The title is a riff on the day when the race was called for Trump and the title of his 2004 movie Fahrenheit 9/11).
In his new doc, the liberal Moore slams Republicans, showing footage of Adolf Hitler dubbed with Trump speeches. But he also criticizes Democrats, claiming that the party rigged the Democratic National Convention to give Clinton the nomination and that President Barack Obama offended residents in Moores hometown of Flint, Mich., by appearing to mock them during a visit in the middle of the water crisis. And yet, Moore has always called himself an optimist, so alongside biting political commentary, he features Americans who should make people feel more hopeful. He introduces April Cook Hawkins, who comes forward to allege in the film that there was a county health department scheme to falsify tests showing Flint childrens blood lead levels to make the crisis seem less dire (the county denies her allegations). And he highlights the students in Parkland, Fla., who organized the March for Our Lives movement after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. By releasing Fahrenheit 11/9 in the walkup to the midterm elections on Nov. 6, Moore aims to inspire people to take action, and most importantly, vote.
Moore spoke with TIME about the film and shared his thoughts on other hot button political issues....

Can’t even come up with an original movie title. Every time it’s mentioned, it requires an explanation in parenthesis (by the way, the title refers one of his old movies and another date that blah blah blah).
Speaking to Time is about like being interviewed by The Pillar, which is the student newspaper of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Who weighs more?
Michael Moore!
I average around 280 to 310lbs these days and I look normal sized next to Moore so how much does he weigh?
Easy to be played when you don’t have a brain.
But look at Ohio, which has been carried by the winning candidate every year since 1964.Mr Trump carried Ohio *easily*.It wasn't even close. That alone should tell you everything you need to know.
And BTW,Fat Boy...if you and your Marxist pals have a problem with the Electoral College just repeal it.You shouldn't find it hard. And,just FYI,don't even think of that plan to circumvent the Electoral College that several of the nation's "blue' states have adopted...it's unconstitutional.
Two cows ;-).
Turn off the computer and run around the block a couple times while I figure out the answer ...
As an amputee I’m in a wheelchair.
If anyone got played it’s fans of the Big Fat Stupid White Guy Michael Moore.
I should have said "roll."
We all owe Michael Moore a huge thank you for helping to get President Trump elected. Most people here must remember this... it is an excerpt from his anti-Trump film which went viral before the election from numerous sources and in numerous locations. It was one of the most persuasive arguments for Democrats to vote Trump despite his actual intentions. Almost no one bothered to watch the rest of his “film”.

That’d bring out the neighborhood kids and dogs.
That would’ve dragged me over the fence if I was undecided and I hate Moore. I hope Don Trump sent him a deluxe box of steaks after that.
That excerpt backfired big time on Michael Moore. It could easily have had an influence in some of the midwestern battleground states. I am sure that President Trump saw it and appreciated it greatly in his last month on the campaign trail. His anti-Trump film was suppose to an “October Surprise”. Hilarious!
The American progressive movement is so daft that they turn to Michael Moore to be their towering intellect.
He probably hasn’t had an original thought since he first decided to live on a diet of Doritos.
The smart set ain't so smart after all!
As the lies continue to be spewed from this bellow......
