And here I thought that was SOP. I've had clearances at several different jobs and when I left those jobs, the clearances were no longer valid. Guess I wasn't high enough on the ladder to "get" to keep them. But, why would I ? Guess it was kind of along the lines of the more keys on your key ring the more important you were. 😹😹😹🍿🍻👍🏼🇺🇸

when I left my last gig at the Navy, my access expired as my CAC has to be returned. But my clearance remained valid for my
next gig. All they have to do is run one’s SSN through JPADS
to verify. Clearance is current for 2 years unless suspended or revoked.
