Hogan is far better than the Democrats. He probably would have been hurt in trying to get anything done that is good for productive, non-government dependent people if he had supported Trump. Maryland’s economy is almost entirely built upon government money ... federal employees, federal contractors , welfare recipients, etc. Without its proximity to DC, it would be among the lowest rated economies. It is so bad for the private sector.
I do find it curious how Hogan’s ads brag about improvements in Maryland’s economy, without ever mentioning the tax cuts and regulation decreases that are entirely due to President Trump. Hogan has to work with a veto-proof state legislature but he doesn’t need to be so anti-Trump.
