We are constantly subjected to preaching from the self-righteous left – the Democrats, the “mainstream” media, the “education” system and the mindless Marxbots it produces – about ending violence in America. They mount their moral high horses and look down on us, the deplorable, bitter clingers, and demand an end to the right-wing inspired violence that they claim white America commits on our minorities and oh-so-innocent leftists on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the facts don’t even come close to this leftist-generated narrative.
The ultimate goal of gun control is so that free people can be scared into submission to the Dems socialist and totalitarian agenda.

Unfortunately, for them, the narrative is the reality. Inevitably, actual reality smacks them hard between the eyes from time to time, but they shake it off like a bad dream, and continue on.
Very few in concealed carry states otherwise we’d hear about more’frontier’ piercings

The internet makes it very difficult to lie and get away with it. The first man to famously learn that was Dan Rather.
I live in KY and carry. Whenever I hear about some of the violent antics of the left in California, etc. I wonder how many of them would be legally shot if they tried that nonsense here.
An armed society is a polite society.
You see very few stories of AntiFa violence from concealed carry / stand your ground states.
That “Love wins” and “No Hate” crowd sure can be dangerous.
Just like most crazy shootings are in gun free zones.

Actually it was the first time 'ELITES' discovered it was difficult to lie and get away with it'...
Since ELITES were the 'gatekeepers', AND made the rules, they and their friends have gotten away with lying... almost ...forever. Including Dan Rather.
For me, what is so “special” about the Dan Rather case is that he tried to fight a new war with old weapons.
The infamous broadcast happened on a Wednesday. By Thursday we had all vetted all the proof that they were created in word. We discussed everything from kerning to precise character spacing, and someone even created an animated Gif showing that a new word version overlaid perfectly over the fake document. I even remember noticing that the superscript on my computer didn’t match the document and I was told in a thread here to print it out and it would. I did and it did.
So by Friday, we knew, WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, that they were fake, and then Dan came on to the nightly news to discuss the document. He forgot he was in the internet age and doubled down. He actually showed an old document, made with a professional word processor from back in the day, that had superscript, “proving” the doc was authentic.
That argument would have worked in the past because, though many people would have been throwing a shoe at the TV, that would have been the end of it. But in the age of the internet we were able to discuss, in public, all over the world, the fact that his claim was a red herring. Not only did it still not address the lions share of evidence (we’d moved way off of the superscript issue by then), but it ignored the fact that it had nothing to do with the type of typewriter used in government offices in that day.
It was comical, and his goose was good and cooked.
And if it had happened in 1990 he would have gotten away with it.
Absolutely. Makes you wonder what he and his cohorts did get away with. The condition the media are in right now is largely a result of them having gotten away with it for a very long time.
I remember you and Buckhead and so many other great freepers during that time. It was an amazing feat - and it changed history.
It’s marked as the beginning of the end of the gatekeepers and their control... An amazing achievement - under appreciated in it’s time...

I was a very small player (And under a different name) but it was a day I remember as much as I remember where I was and what I was doing when the 911 attack happened.
It was truly epic. And I remember the whole time thinking that, without the internet, Gore would have been our president.
