The Proud Boys, a right-wing men’s group, is claiming a higher profile role in the region, with two members involved in a confrontation outside the Vancouver Mall that raised concerns for some about a miscarriage of justice.
VANCOUVER, Clark County — Mykel Mosley walked out of the Vancouver Mall and saw something that made him angry: a pickup flying what he says was a Donald Trump flag.
The African-American teenager yelled out an obscenity about Trump.
Two men got out of the truck, and chased Mosley, one of them spinning him briefly to the ground.
A video, posted online, shows some of the May 11 confrontation and its aftermath — including Mosley’s being turned over by mall guards to police who arrested him.
The man who grabbed Mosley was identified by the Clark County prosecuting attorney as Tusitala “Tiny” Toese. Another man, Donovon Flippo, through a posting from his Facebook account, says he joined in the pursuit of Mosley.
Both men describe themselves as members of the Proud Boys, a right-wing fraternal group that says its members are “Western chauvinists who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world.” Its website lists eight ways to “save America.” Among them: “give everyone a gun,” “venerate the housewife,” “shut down the government.”(continued)

its okay for the little nazi's to beat up, or steal from or shout down or disrupt the normal people but my Lord, don't let anyone confront them back....

That was protection from metal pipes and pepper spray. The point is they don't purposely hide their faces as Antifa does.
And they don't look at all goofy, not in the face of the fascists Antifa.
Don’t know anything about them other than having seen a video of one of them deliver a well-deserved punch to the face of a leftwing loon that had just attacked him with a metal rod or pipe.
It was beautiful to behold, I don’t care who they are.
Now if they are dead serious about being chauvinistic [rather than chivalrous] and wanting to shut down government [anarchy rather than reduce its size and power], then they are not a good group, though so long as they do not initiate violence they have a right to express their opinions and their right should be defended. I like chivalrous males, but have no interest in “golden cagers” - chauvinistic anarchists - as that is essentially what a jihadist is.
But whichever they are, they are undoubtedly useful for the purposes of preventing the radical, violent left from shutting down free speech in this country. So enjoy the show.

Looks like we’ll have to wait and see if they were justified by him initiating violence or charging towards them brandishing his fists ...or if they were violating the idiot mall-goer’s mere use of speech rights.
He does have a right to express his opinion about Trump, though I would think he had to get fairly close to them to be heard, and since he was using obscenities, I would take a “Borkian” view that the use of obscenities is threatening. If he approached a family while he was shouting obscenities how could it not be interpreted as threatening?
I think Bork was right about civility. The lack of civility is destructive to those very rights of free speech that obscene people like to tout.
If he hadn’t used obscenities, it would be easier to sympathize with him. Th more often someone being uncivil gets it in the kisser, the sooner we can return to civil discourse and debate rather than raw emotionalism.
