My fraternity had a "Wine and Cheese tasting party" each semester....basically it was any wine costing less than $3 and Cheese Whiz and Saltines. Man, I miss college.

We drank some kind of wine called Mellow Days. It was our favorite that we got at the liquor store in Grambling LA cause we were only 16.

Early 70’s, California coast, Red Mountain Vin Rose was $1.79 per gallon. To class it up, we called it Montana Rojo.

Mellow Days was sold by Annie Green Springs wine co.
On the billboard Mellow Days was featured with Easy Nights.
Same low octane stuff as Boone’s Farm. Those were the 70’s.
