I want to give a shout out to Candace Owens. Like so many FReepers, I've been caught up in excitement over Trump's success and the political battles of the day that I failed to notice this powerful American woman who is sparking a revolution of thought in her own community.
Rarely does a person arise with such courage, intelligence, eloquence, authenticity, good humor, and beauty of soul and nind. And I would add one further quality she has I know Trump values: GRIT!
If you get a chance to watch some of her videos, you won't be disappointed.

That gal is just as cute and happy as she is smart. Compare her to the pink-hatted bunch of angry, germ infested skanks on the left.
I think we are finally starting to see more minorities leaving the democrat plantation. It took 50 years, but they are starting to question just what the Democrats have done other than empty words.
I've been watching her on T.V. and YouTube for well over a year now; she's terrific.

A thoughtful female with a beautiful smile is always a plus when attempting to speak words which others might scorn.

I love watching her. I have liberal acquaintances who cannot understand how I, a female, minority (East Indian), 1st gen American, am staunchly conservative. Apparently, like all minorities, I am not supposed to have my own mind and succumb to leftist rhetoric of “hey, we’ll give you stuff for ‘free’” . My grandfather raised my dad on the principles of education (because no one can take that away from you), hard work, and service to others; not entitlement.
But she's on YouTube and I follow her there. :-)
Yes, she is extremely intelligent, well spoken, and often quite funny.

Good to hear your family story. The Libs would have us believe that conservative principles are something strange and weird.
But on occasion I remind my 6 brothers and sisters from Massachusetts about the forgotten (to them) strong conservative opinions of my Dad, a Navy vet of the Battle of Normandy and the Battle of Okinawa. My Dad was a Reagan Democrat.
Two people I could listen to all day are Candace Owens and Scott Adams.
Scott makes it easy because he posts his podcasts on his Coffee with Scott Adams website.
