The only thing this guy is 'guilty' of is living in the fascist sh*thole of New York city.

Looks like the guy is getting started on a good,-sized gun collection. I did not know about the limits on ammunition. So this guy must have really shot something up, huh? Is there actually anything illegal about his collection?

In Texas or Arizona we would call that an okay gun collection.

District Attorney Brown said that, according to the charges, Drabman does not have a firearms license and is not a gun dealer. He is not licensed to sell or to manufacture firearms or ammunition.

That's all they got?

Paper crime.

I notice none of the school board, or law enforcement personnel in Broward County, Florida have been arrested for violating federal gun laws resulting in 17 student deaths.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown: “This stockpile of weapons poses a great risk to the residents of Queens..."

Good for you Richard! Those guns might have risen up, marched up the basement stars, through the house, out into the street and started shooting innocent, unarmed civilians.

Thank you so much for neutralizing this vicious threat to the neighborhood.

By the way, is owning ammo illegal in NYC? If not, why was it seized?

Actually, as I recall New York State Law requires that each handgun must be added to the owner's permit at purchase. That has to be on record, and accessible to the law enforcement. Are any of the handguns unlawfully possessed? If so, the owner knows the penalty.

And why are the airguns even mentioned in this context?

As far as the long guns are concerned, many of these might have become unlawful to possess, only by the preemptive recently passed, unless there was any grandfathering clause in the legislation. I don't believe there is any restriction on the number of guns a law-abiding citizen can own and keep.

It is grossly unfair that a collector should have to give up thousands of dollars worth of property because the laws were changed.

And where does this pejorative "looks like a Colt Light Machine Gun front end" come from? Gaaaah!
