Dirty tricks begin in the final hours before the primary election. Rauner must be upset that his lead over Ives in the polls has dropped to from twenty plus in February to single digits in March.

I am really hoping voters see past Rauner’s attack on Ives which is the biggest lie ever put forth since Blago left the building. She may not be able to win but if we’re doing to have a liberal progressive governor may as well have one with a D after his name instead of an R.

When I was Republican county Chairman here I ruled, no endorsements in a contested primary. Saves the embarrassment of having the endorsee lose the primary, then trying to work with the primary winner.
