Last night down a side street view from our balcony someone was projecting the New Year celebration TV show from his window onto the opposite building. Image was at least 30 x 30 feet large.
People versus government.

The fireworks have started up again as soon as it got dark.
Not as much as last night but still very nice to see through the windows.

I’m in southeast Michigan. We can’t afford fireworks so we use gunfire. Sucks for the people down the street, though.

More people accused Trump of sexual abuse than were accused last night in the whole of Berlin.
Good. Maybe the cops and the immigrants are starting to get the message.
This is an entrancing fireworks show - so different from the centralized and programmed exhibitions around the globe, all striving for the spectacular. This, in contrast, seemed very organic and beautiful in a dispersed, spontaneous, unprogrammed way.
My birthplace. The old grey coathanger still has some life in it.
