In Hezbollah’s case, a growing “business relationship” with cartels has allowed the Shia Islamic militant group to have a growing presence in the U.S., says Matthew Levitt, an esteemed terrorism expert with an impressive resume. Levitt is a former counterterrorism intelligence analyst at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and State Department counterterrorism adviser. He also served as the No. 2 intelligence official at the U.S. Treasury where he operated the agency’s terrorism and financial intelligence branch.
Levitt offers details of this mind-boggling collaboration between two powerful criminal enterprises in a new book titled: “Hezbollah: The Global Footprint of Lebanon’s Party of God.” A nonprofit dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamic extremism, the Clarion Project, profiled the book in a recent article titled “Growing Hezbollah Presence in Southwest U.S.”
Hezbollah’s business relationship with Mexican drug cartels is a driving force behind this phenomenon, according to the analysis that quotes alarming excerpts from the book. For instance in 2009, a former Chief of Operations for the DEA said that Hezbollah uses “the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts as the drug cartels.”
The Obama administration stymied a sprawling investigation into the terror group Hezbollah — and its highly lucrative drug- trafficking networks — to protect the Iran nuclear deal, according to a bombshell report.All for his "legacy."A team at the Drug Enforcement Administration had been working for almost a decade to bring down the Iran-backed militant organization’s sophisticated $1 billion-a-year drug ring, which laundered money and smuggled cocaine into the United States, Politico reported.
But the departments of Justice and Treasury repeatedly undermined agents’ efforts to arrest and prosecute key members of the criminal network — because the Obama White House feared upsetting Tehran ahead of the nuclear agreement, according to Politico.
Former Treasury official Katherine Bauer even admitted in little-noticed testimony to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs last February that “under the Obama administration . . . these [Hezbollah-related] investigations were tamped down for fear of rocking the boat with Iran and jeopardizing the nuclear deal.”
When the Iran agreement took effect in January 2016, the investigation — dubbed Project Cassandra — was effectively dismantled.
The Iran deal is widely seen as bad for the US and the world. It is also said to violate both Federal Law and the Constitution. Obama used the press as useful idiots to sell the lousy deal. Nothing Iran does seems to violate the deal- not the threat of ballistic missiles raining down on Israel, not seizing and humiliating US sailors, not threatening US assets, not harassing our ships, nothing. obama took it deep up the wazoo for a mantle ornament, but this is abominable.

If I was the parent of a minor child or a prisoner convicted of illegal cocaine use/dealing in the last eight years, I would be seeking a class action law suit against private citizen Barak H. Obama for aiding/abetting/conspiracy/accessory after the fact/RICO act violations and responsibility for the conviction and imply entrapment through enabling the crime.

Remember, criminal charges require proof “beyond a reasonable doubt”. Civil cases are decided on “ the preponderance of the evidence” - in other words which side of the scale contains more weight? Civil class action suits carry civil penalties, $$$$. Bust the liberal bank.
Discovery might also uncover the evidence for a subsequent criminal indictment.
