I was never satisfied with Bush II. He was just so much better than the alternative, Gore, aka Bill Clinton’s third term. Bush was weak, and lacked guiding principles. The effect of the Florida recounts and questions about the legitimacy of his Presidency seems to affect him more than he should ever have allowed.
I still miss Reagan. And Thatcher.

Yes, Dubya’s first term was okay, his second term was terrible bordering on disastrous, his absence from politics during Obama was expected in support of political correctness, and his uncalled fro comments now regarding President Trump are unforgivable.
It’s gotta suck when both the left and the right hate you.

Yeah that is a lesson I learned here on FR and W is a perfect example. I am still cautious of Trump for the same reason but so far it’s thumbs up for the Donald.
Those who understand history know that it has a marvelous way of providing a whole new perspective on the past. While many in their day, including myself, viewed the Bushes as good Republicans, we didn’t have a clue what they and the Deep State state were busy cooking up for us. We heard Bush Senior’s now infamous words about a “New World Order,” but it was uttered with scant details. What it really boiled down to was bankrupting America to bankroll the rest of the world. There never was a thought given to Americans, American sovereignty, or putting American interests first. They drained America of its hard earned wealth and now we have to drain the swamp of these vermin.
My “uh oh” moment was when Bush described himself as a “compassionate conservative,” apparently to differentiate himself from the puppy-stomping variety.

“W” SEEMED to be a pretty decent guy with a “do nothing attitude”. Unfortunately, he disappointed many of us who elected him. Past presidents need to stay “gone” especially odumbo!

Word is that Daddy Bush called off the 2016 election theft that was in the works (the reason for the three-hour delay in announcing Trump's win on election night) under direct threat of imminent peril from the White Hats in the Deep State. The Dems were "supposed to find" 300,000 "lost" Hillary ballots in Broward County, FL for starters.
W has many reasons to hate Trump. Odd that he would remain silent as Obama tore asunder our nation, but that he would now speak against the man repairing the damage.
Rather telling, one would think.
