Professional football is no longer a refuge of the ordinary American.

For a long time, I've been thinking that the NFL has been getting away with "it" for the past 20 years or more because of the popularity of fantasy football. With this problem, and the concussions, the NFL will be facing reality, in the forms of lower advertising revenue driving network bids for new contracts, over-saturation on Thursday and even Monday night, and probably 4-8 too many teams in the NFL.

Pink in October and anti-white in November will not help the NFL retain its audience. Color-blind might work, but does the NFL have will to do that?

I’d like to see the players who are standing - on any team - start ‘accidentally’ sacking those that kneel, thus removing them from the game.

Easy to tune out and turn them off.

Easier for me since I got sick of these over paid prima donnas a LONG time ago.

If most of them couldn’t carry a foot ball they would be digging ditches or trying to be on welfare.

Tune out, turn off it won’t take long for the money to stop flowing. Don’t want this gang back ever though at any price. There are plenty of others.

Watch what happens in basketball this season. They are losers as well.

I have much better things to do than watch sports on TV. Surely other people can find something more useful and enjoyable to do.

MLB has a lot of players from Latin America and Asia
NBA has a lot of players from Europe
NHL has a lot of players from Canada and Russia

And yet, it is the NFL, the one league composed almost exclusively of America citizens that is most disrespectful to this country.

We can sack them financially by not going to their games, not watching them on tv, cutting our cables and using Sling Blue which does not carry ESPN/Disney.

Then when they are unemployed thugs, they can sack, rob, and kill each other on the streets where they have to live on without their big checks.

I agree. Take ALL Federal support out of the NFL. Remove ANY reference to America that includes anthem,flags,veterans,color guards,flyovers etc etc.
