Texas doesn’t need your help, lefties. We’ll take care of our own.
Someone — the Mayor of Corpus Christi, I think — was interviewed just before the SHTF. He was adamant - said something like: “We Texans are self sufficient. We don’t need anyone’s help. We will be thankful for any help we might get, but we don’t need it. We are self sufficient.”
Great attitude. Similar to when Nashville was flooded a few years ago. Obama sent nobody in to help (they generally vote GOP), and they took care of the mess themselves. No whining, as there was in Nagan’s New Orleans.
