Uummm, is it legal for a 12 year old to be selling Firearms?
One of the best revolvers I ever had was auctioned by the Walton County, FL Sheriff’s office. A local dealer purchased the entire consignment and among them was a Smith & Wesson model 29.
It was a six inch barrel version and near mint except one side of the rear sight blade was broken. I had no idea how to replace the blade but ran into a parts seller at a gun show and he had a large supply of S&W parts.
I asked him if he could replace the blade and he said yes if I would let him use the concrete floor. I agree and he replaced it. I was a little apprehensive as he placed the gun on the concrete and beat on it a few times but he knew what he was doing.
He did not harm the finish at all and the gun was a great shooter. It was later stolen. I had the serial number and it was placed in the national database. I always hoped it would eventually turn up but so far hasn’t.
Can’t believe they sold so low! Must be the TRUMP effect. Usually people lose all sense of self control when they see a police gun auction and bid them up! up!UP!
